George L. Smith is raising cane at our annual Sugar Cane Festival. Come help us celebrate the rich history and cultural heritage of rural Georgia. Gather around to watch live cane grinding and gristmill demonstrations, where fresh sugar cane is made into golden syrup right before your eyes. Stroll through the park to browse unique creations from local craft vendors, sample delicious bites from local food trucks, and don't forget to take home a jar of sweet, pure cane syrup made right here at the park. Relive fond childhood memories or create new ones with your family; don't miss out on this unique opportunity. Parking fee required. 478-763-2759.
