Introduction to Orienteering and Compasses

Join us at the Visitor Center for an introductory course to the sport of Orienteering on our permanent course. We'll be starting at the Visitor Center, then taking a short walk to the course. Wear closed toed shoes, bring water, and wear weather appropriate clothing. Compasses will be provided for loan or can be purchased from the Visitor Center.

Email questions to redtop.programmers@dnr.ga.gov. No registration necessary, we will be doing some moderate level hiking off-trail for this program. Purchase a course map for $5 inside the Visitor Center. This program is available to all, without regard to race, color, national origin, disability, age, sex, political affiliation or religion.
