Trunk-o-Treat Fun

Little trick-or-treaters can dress in their favorite costumes while collecting candy from car-to-car instead of door-to-door. Kids will have supervised activities while adults decorate cars at the park. Contest for best costumes and car decoration. On this Spooky night, decorate yourselves with glow bracelets, glow sticks or anything that would light up the trail. We will provide extra glow sticks. We will meet at the boat ramp parking. For safety, bring flashlights. Call in advance to register. Each time slot limited to 20 participants. Wear close-toed shoes, and insect repellent. $3 plus $5 parking. 678-450-7726.

Join a ranger as we explore a beautiful backcountry area of the park. Our 2 mile cross country adventure will follow old road beds, ridges, hills and valleys. Moderate to strenuous. Wear closed-toe shoes and bring water. Meet at the trail-head parking. Call the Visitor Center to reserve a spot. Limited to 15 hikers. $5 plus $5 parking. 678-450-7726.
