Gather at Camp Lawton History Center for a hike to Camp Lawton’s 160 year old earthen fort. Along the way we will discover more about this 1864 Civil War prisoner of war camp built to hold 40,000 prisoners. Admission to the History Center is included. Try your hand with a compound or recurve bow after learning the basics from a certified instructor. Archery equipment will be provided. All levels of experience are welcome for a fun time of target practice. Meet at the archery range at 3:15 pm.

Join us on the biggest volunteer day of the year as we work to clear debris off our trails and clean our boats! All volunteers will get in free. The park has a limited supply of tools.
