Status: Archived Gather the family and join us at our 1850s log cabin. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be here until 3 pm.Experience the sights and smells of a pioneer Christmas. Help our civilian reenactors decorate the Christmas tree. There will be a fire in the fireplace with something good cooking on it. There will be period toys and games for children.
There will be musket firings, cabin tours, and interpretive displays for the adults. Listen to soldiers talk about life during the winters of the Civil War.

Located Take I-20 exit #44. Turn onto Thornton Road. (Highway 278) Follow Highway 278 West for 10 miles. Make a right onto Highway 92. Travel North on Highway 92 for approximately 6 miles. Look for brown Pickett's Mill signs as you continue. Turn left onto Due West Road. Continue 2 miles. Turn right onto Mount Tabor Church Road. Travel half a mile and the site on the right.
