Status: Archived
Enjoy the beautiful, slow changing colors of the fall leaves as you hike up Panola Mountain. But the beauty doesn't end where the trees stop. The tip of Panola blooms yellow with Confederate Daisies. Wear sturdy shoes and bring plenty of water for this moderate to strenuous hike. Call Nature Center to register.

This is a moderately strenuous hike covering approximately 3 miles, with significant elevation changes and uneven terrain. Ages 10 and up. Groups of 6 or more must register for a private hike. Meet at Nature Center. Reservations are nonrefundable. Participants must give at least 24 hours notice if they need to reschedule. Transfer credits will only be applied to a similar program. This is a rain or shine event! In the case of severe weather, the park may deem it necessary to cancel or reschedule the hike. Park staff will notify registered participants of any change of plans prior to the event. If there are no sign-ups by the end of the day prior to the hike, the park reserves the right to cancel the program.
