Georgia Master Naturalist

In cooperation with the UGA Warnell School of Forestry, this is an eight-week long course that will cover a variety of subjects such as dendrology, herpetology, ichthyology, and ornithology. The program is a combination of classroom lectures and outside hands-on learning. This program requires pre-registration, and space is limited to 10 people.

Join us on Monday’s in June and July to learn more about the conservation and wildlife issues relevant to our southern Blue Ridge ecoregion. This course will conclude with a certification as a GA Master Naturalist. The course will be held in the Discovery Room in the Visitor Center. Reservations are required, and you must register by May 25th.
