Sapelo Island Adventure Weekend

Join this exclusive opportunity to explore the magic of Sapelo Island. We'll go kayaking, birding, fishing, hiking, biking and more on this minimally developed barrier island. All inclusive (except ferry) and open to just 20 guests. Itinerary and pricing below.

Pricing (all-inclusive except ferry fee): $598 + tax per person or $1175 + tax per couple Includes two nights in the historic Reynolds Mansion, all meals, activities, guides and transportation on the island. Ferry fee of $15 per person (round trip) is not included and must be purchased at the mainland visitor’s center the day of arrival. Reservations and Questions: Limited to 20 participants. Room choices are first-come first-serve, so make your reservation early. Nonrefundable payment is due at the time of reservation. Please call 912-485-2299. Friday begins with your arrival by 3:00 PM to the Meridian ferry dock to purchase round trip ferry ticket for  3:30 PM departure to the island.  Upon arrival you will have time to unpack and settle in to the Mansion.  There will be social time with hors d'oeuvres before a Low Country Boil dinner served Mansion style.  After dinner there will be a bonfire with s'mores.

Saturday starts with a Big House Classic breakfast followed by a 2-hour marsh kayak trip.  After lunch there will be a guided hike through marsh and dunes of our beautiful nature trail.  In the afternoon there will be free time for biking, beach time, fishing and exploring.  There will be social time with hors d'oeuvres before the Mansion Prime Rib dinner.  It will be followed by a bonfire with s'mores.

Sunday begins early with a Chachalaca bird and Eagle nest hike followed by a South End griddlecake and sausage breakfast.  There will be free time for biking, beach time, fishing and exploring.  After lunch there will be a tour of the Sapelo Island lighthouse with the opportunity to climb to the top for spectacular photos.  Upon returning you will pack up and get ready to make your 4:00 PM departure of the island.
