Join in the celebration of the Heroes of the Hornet's Nest. The annual ceremony honors the lives and acts of our Revolutionary War Heroes including General Elijah Clark.

Start your Georgia Revolutionary War Days Celebration this year on Friday 9, 2018 at Elijah Clark State Park with a free chili luncheon and dessert buffet followed at 1:30 PM with a program honoring Georgia's "Heroes of the Hornet's Nest" Included in the program will be a grave marking ceremony for Georgia Revolutionary War hero Elijah Clarke with a SAR granite marker placed at his grave site. Indoor facilities are available in the event of inclement weather. Park entry fees will be waived for participants and special discounts will be offered for 2 - night cabin rentals at the park. Sponsored by the Elijah Clark State Park: Friends of the Elijah Clark Park, Lincoln County Historical Society, William Few & Atlanta Chapters of the Sons of the American Revolution, and the Stephen Heard and Elijah Clarke Chapters of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Located 7 miles northeast of Lincolnton on Highway 378.
GA State Route 378 construction has begun on the bridge between Lincolnton, GA and McCormick, SC. This construction will impact traffic coming to Elijah Clark State Park. Traffic is being routed from GA Highway 47 on to Chamberlin Ferry Road to GA Highway 220 to State Route 378. Visitors coming from Augusta and Columbia County on GA Highway 47 east need to turn right onto GA Highway 220 east following it until they reach GA Highway 378 North.
