Heroes of the Hornet's Nest Ceremony

Join in the celebration of the Heroes of the Hornet's Nest. The annual ceremony honors the lives and acts of our Revolutionary War Heroes including General Elijah Clark.

Start your Georgia Revolutionary War Days Celebration this year on Friday 9, 2018 at Elijah Clark State Park with a free chili luncheon and dessert buffet followed at 1:30 PM with a program honoring Georgia's "Heroes of the Hornet's Nest" Included in the program will be a grave marking ceremony for Georgia Revolutionary War hero Elijah Clarke with a SAR granite marker placed at his grave site. Indoor facilities are available in the event of inclement weather. Park entry fees will be waived for participants and special discounts will be offered for 2 - night cabin rentals at the park.
