Status: Archived From the earliest days of the humble tidal powered sawmill, to the later industrial scale steam operated sawmills, this site was utilized for centuries to process Yellow Pine, as well as Cypress, from the Altamaha River. Join the ranger on a walking tour as they visit the actual locations of the mills.
