Status: Archived An introductory presentation that will familiarize participants with the methods of Low Country rice culture. Following the presentation there will be a guided hike to the ruins of the plantation rice mill and the rice fields observation deck. Hike will be approximately 1/2 mile in length over uneven ground.
Appropriate dress, sunscreen and insect repellent are recommended.
