Status: Archived Celebrate the first week of the New Year by going for a short leisure hike around Etowah Mounds. The hike includes a tour of the mounds and nature trail. The hike will be about 1. 5 miles long and takes about 1 1/2 hours (depending on the weather, wildlife seen, and the questions asked).
Dress for the weather and bring your favorite wildlife viewing media. Once we are on the trail, we do not know what wildlife we may see.Our Friends group usually provide a few snacks and hot chocolate for those who participate at the end of the hike, but please bring water and snacks that you want for during the hike.
