Revolutionary War Hero Elijah Clark led Georgian Patriots in many battles leading to the Colonies freedom from English rule. Beginning at 10:30 AM - Elijah Clark Homestead will host tours of the cabins including colonial life demonstrations. At 12 PM - Free Chili Luncheon. At 1:30 PM - Heroes of the Hornets' Nest Wreath Ceremony will commence.

The featured speaker this year is noted historian and author Robert S. Davis. A memorial service including regional color guard and militia units will combine to bring pomp and circumstance to the occasion. This event is sponsored by several Chapters of the Sons of American Revolution, Daughters of the American Revolution, Friends of Elijah Clark State Park and Elijah Clark Sate Park. Park entry fees will be waived for participants, special discounts will be offered for 2-night cabin rentals at the park. Indoor facilities are available in the event of inclement weather.

Located 7 miles northeast of Lincolnton on Highway 378.
GA State Route 378 construction has begun on the bridge between Lincolnton, GA and McCormick, SC. This construction will impact traffic coming to Elijah Clark State Park. Traffic is being routed from GA Highway 47 on to Chamberlin Ferry Road to GA Highway 220 to State Route 378. Visitors coming from Augusta and Columbia County on GA Highway 47 east need to turn right onto GA Highway 220 east following it until they reach GA Highway 378 North.
