Status: Archived Silver in the Park are outdoor programs that seek to enhance a lively aging community. Come to fish from the pier or the shore. No experience necessary. Fishing poles and bait provided. Fishing license required. Meet at the boat ramp parking 15 min before the program starts. Pre-registration required. Wear light clothes, sunscreen, and bring water.
Fishing licenses: GA residents under 65 years old: $11.50 (including taxes). Residents over 65 years old: Free (lifetime license). You can get your license in fishing stores (Academy Sports), on-line, or at the park (Visa or MasterCard only).

Located northeast of Gainesville, on the north side of the lake. From Clarks Bridge Road, go south on N. Browning Bridge Road. At the “Y,” take the left fork and continue for one-half mile to the park entrance.
