Status: Archived Come on out and help Friends of Hard Labor Creek SP plant the flower beds in our brand new butterfly garden. After lunch, stick around for wagon rides (free to volunteers) and the tagging and releasing of Monarch butterflies! Meet at Picnic shelter 2. Bring gloves, and hand trowels. Drinks and lunch provided by Friends of HLC group.
9 am - 12 pm: Flower beds planting
12 pm - 2 pm: Wagon Rides, $3 (free for volunteers)
12 pm - 1 pm: Tagging and releasing of Monarch Butterflies (depending on weather and supplies)
Register in advance to ensure there will be lunch for all volunteers.
