Status: Archived We are gearing up to treat our Hemlock trees to protect them against the invasive insect the Hemlock Wooly Adelgid. This will be a two day treatment of the trees with an insecticide application. We aim to treat 1,800 trees in the park. There will be a period of instruction prior to treatment. Use this knowledge to treat your own hemlock trees.
Please wear good hiking shoes, clothes you can get dirty, bring water, and lunch. This will require moderate activity.
