Status: Archived Celebrate Columbus Day by practicing skills Columbus used to navigate to the New World. Jr Rangers will learn trip planning, map reading and compass skills to navigate routes around the park. Then, Junior Rangers will practice archery and prepare a lunch with New World foods like potatoes, tomatoes, corn and cocoa.
Children should dress to be outside with closed-toe shoes and sunscreen. Lunch will be provided, but packed lunches are welcome as well.
