Status: Archived Join two AmeriCorps rangers as they guide you through the basics of backpacking. Preregistration for this event is required. What will we learn? -Leave No Trace -Trail Etiquette & Safety -Hiking/Packing Tips -Plant & Animal Awareness -How to Pitch Camp -Fire Starting. The program will begin Saturday at 10am & ends Sunday afternoon
Only for persons 15 years of age and older. Limited to 10 people.Tents are provided. Backpacks and sleeping bags available to borrow.
