Join AmeriCorps Rangers for a #ParksAfterDark campfire with a s'more and stargazing. S'mores will take place at the Vaughan Cabin from 7 to 7:30 pm. Then, we will move out into the field to get a better view of the stars. However, feel free to go back to the campfire to keep warm anytime during the program.

Dress for the weather and bring water. Lawn chairs will be provided, but we have a limited supply. Stargazing equipment and star charts will also be available for use. The Vaughan Cabin is located at the Old Park Office, 50 Lodge Rd SE, Cartersville, GA 30121. Once parked at the Old Park Office parking lot, follow the AmeriCorps Serving Here signs and glow sticks to arrive at the program location. Email redtop.programmers@dnr.ga.gov with any questions. Bad weather can cancel this program.
