Status: Archived Experience the majesty of a meteor shower from a kayak. We will paddle to a secluded, low-light spot to provide optimal viewing conditions. A night sky full of stars over the lake is a beautiful sight.
Meet at the boat ramp. Advance registration required. Tour spots are on a first come first served basis. Call or stop by the office to reserve a spot. Event is open to everyone 6 and up who can swim. Kayaks/canoes and life jackets and paddles are provided. Flashlights are required and don't forget drinking water.

Located 16 miles south of Donalsonville via Highway 39 or 23 miles west of Bainbridge on Highway 253/Spring Creek Road.
From Tallahassee (approx. 1 hour, 10 minutes) take Highway 27 north into Bainbridge then Highway 253/Spring Creek Road west.
