Status: Archived Experience the majesty of a meteor shower from your kayak. We will paddle 2.5 miles to a secluded, low-light spot to provide optimal viewing conditions. A night sky full of stars over the lake is a beautiful sight.
Event is open to everyone age 6 and up who can swim. Advance registration required. Tour spots are on a first come first served basis.Call or stop by the office to reserve a spot. Kayaks/canoes and life jackets and paddles are provided. Flashlights are required and don't forget drinking water. Meet at the boat ramp.

From Tallahassee (approx. 1 hour, 10 minutes) take Highway 27 north into Bainbridge then Highway 253/Spring Creek Road west.
