Owl Talk and Pellet Dissection

This event has already occurred.

Status: Archived
Like other birds, owls don't have teeth! When they swallow their prey whole their gizzard compacts the bones and fur into pellets that the owls "cough" up. Learn more about these fascinating birds and dissect your very own owl pellet to discover what their last meal might have been!

Cost is $5 per owl pellet. Multiple guests may work to dissect each pellet. Meet at the group shelter across from the visitor's center
