Hike Through History on Billy's Island - National Trails Day

Paddle to historic Billy's Island with a ranger and explore the relics and remnants of the different people who have lived on the island throughout history. Celebrate National Trails Day as you paddle across Billy's lake and hike the short trail on this isolated island deep within the Okefenokee.

Ages 5 to 12 must be accompanied in boat by an adult. No one younger than 5 due to safety reasons.
Sign up in advance.
Spots are limited.
Bring a headlamp. Program can be cancelled for weather. Must sign a waiver. Must be able to paddle a canoe or kayak independently. Advanced reservations are non-refundable unless program is cancelled.
