Status: Archived Get Outdoors and take in a beautiful sunset deep within the Okefenokee Swamp. Get comfortable in a canoe or kayak and follow one of our rangers onto Billy's Lake while learning about the swamp. Keep an eye out for birds flying to roost and listen close for the loud calls of some the swamps frogs.
Dress for the weather, bring water and a flashlight (preferably a headlamp). Participants must be over 4 years of age. Any child between the ages of 5-12 must be accompanied by an adult. Register in the office or call ahead to go on this paddle. Space is limited. Must be able to paddle a kayak or canoe independently. Must sign a waiver.
