Geminids Meteor Shower Paddle

Friday, Dec 14, 2018

Join us for a late night paddle under the Geminids meteor shower. One of our rangers will lead you out to Billy's Lake for a wide view of the stars and meteors far from man made light. Take advantage of our dark skies and see the meteor shower from one of the best vantage points in the southeast.

Any child between the ages of 5-12 must be accompanied by an adult. Headlamps are recommended. Register in the office or call ahead to go on this paddle. Space is limited. Must be able to paddle a kayak or canoe independently. Must sign a waiver. Must be staying on site in cabin or campground due to late start time. The Eco-Lodge is not on site.
