Junior Ranger Hikes

Join us for a kid friendly hike while completing an activity from your Junior Ranger Book. Each hike will be 1 mile long. The meeting location will change month to month. We will begin our hike promptly at the start time. $1 per participant.

Have fun learning in the outdoors as you work towards earning your very own Junior Ranger badge. By following the guidelines in the Junior Ranger Activity Book you will experience nature first-hand, explore Georgia's fascinating history and enjoy outdoor recreational activities. Junior Ranger Books are located in the Park Office. Meeting Locations: April 1st- Birdberry Trailhead April 3rd- Birdberry Trailhead May 19th- Campground Amphitheater **Meeting locations are subject to change** Directions to the Campground Amphitheater: Please use the parking lot by the Campground 2 boat ramp. The amphitheater is tucked in between Campground 1 and 2. The easiest way to access it is by parking in the parking lot at the Campground 2 boat ramp, and walking along the campground road. You will see a playground and a trail. The amphitheater is located behind the playground. Please have kids wear closed toe shoes. Appropriate for ages 4-12. Parking pass required. Not Suitable for strollers.
