Status: Archived Come meet Mercedes our resident Gopher Tortoise. Gopher Tortoises play an important role in our native ecosystem and are Georgia's official state reptile. You're welcome to bring leafy greens or fruit to donate and watch them eat it while you learn about what makes Gopher Tortoises so special. Pre-registration required due to social distancing
