Status: Archived Join the Friends of state parks to help sweep the Chattahoochee River of trash and debris. We will have a meet and greet with the Naturalist and the Friends of Chattahoochee Bend to learn more about the park and what all we have to offer from 11:30-1:00.
All volunteers will have free admission to the park that day. River cleanup begins at 9:00.

From I-85 North or South near Newnan, take Exit 47 Highway 34 (Bullsboro Boulevard). Go west 0.8 miles. Turn right onto Highway 34 Bypass (M. Farmer Industrial Road) at 4-way stop and go 8.2 miles. Turn right onto Thomas Powers Road and go 2.7 miles to a 4-way stop. The road name changes to Hewlett South Road. Continue straight 0.9 miles. Continue straight onto Bud Davis Road and go 1.9 miles. Turn right onto Flat Rock Road. The road name changes to Bobwhite Way. Continue straight to gated entrance of the park.
