Status: Archived Join us for a kid friendly scavenger hike. Sip on hot chocolate while exploring the effects of winter on the park's forests. Each hike will be 1 mile long. We will meet at the Campground Amphitheater, and begin our hike promptly at 10:30 am. $2 per participant.
Please use the parking lot by the Campground 2 boat ramp. The amphitheater is tucked in between Campground 1 and 2. The easiest way to access it is by parking in the parking lot at the Campground 2 boat ramp, and walking along the campground road. You will see a playground and a trail. The amphitheater is located behind the playground.
Please have kids wear closed toe shoes. Appropriate for ages 4 and older, however all ages are welcomed. Not Suitable for strollers. No dogs, please. Park Pass Required.
