Status: Archived Explore the calm waters of Lake Rutledge while bird-watching and looking for wildlife. Learn a little history of Hard Labor Creek cruising the lake with a ranger. Meet at the beach area. Bring water, sunscreen, bug spray, and water shoes. Limited spots available to 9 people. Please register by calling in advance.
Directions to the beach area: From the park office (Trading Post), left out the entrance gate / Right at stop sign / Go 1 mile (you will pass Park stone entrance) / Look for the first paved road on your left / Take this left and follow the signs.
