Status: Archived Geared towards those Junior Rangers and family who have never been camping before, this overnight program will teach you valuable skills on things such as pitching a tent, starting a campfire, cooking outdoors, archery, fishing, survival skills, roasting marshmallows and more as you work towards earning your Junior Ranger badges.
$75 per family of 4 or less, $100 per family of 6 or less. Maximum family size 6. Responsible adult required with any participating minor, and must stay overnight. Group campsite, fishing gear, archery equipment, campfire supplies, campfire cooked dinner and marshmallows included. Participants will need to bring own tent/cot/hammock, sleeping supplies, refillable water bottle, and personal clothes/toiletries, and will be responsible for own breakfast before ranger arrives for Friday morning activities. Pre-registration required, call Visitor Center for more information. Please notify staff of any food allergies when signing up. Minimum 4 families to hold program, maximum 8 families.
