Historic CCC Paddle and Hike

This ranger-led paddle + hike around Lake Rutledge will take participants back in time to the 1930s. Learn how the Civilian Conservation Corps built our lakes, bridges, roads, and group camps. We will show pictures of before and after the lake was built. Bring closed-toe shoes, water and bug repellent. Meet at the beach area. Call to pay in advance

The beach area IS NOT located near the visitors center. Click on the link below for directions to the beach area.There is a collection box for park passes ($5) at the beach parking area (cash only). Smoking and intoxicants prohibited during the program.
