Explore the beginnings of the Suwannee River on this ranger guided hike at the Suwannee River Sill. Learn about the abundant wildlife found within the Okefenokee (the headwaters of the Suwannee) and the history of how people have used this land while taking in the unique scenery of this environment. Sign up in advance by calling park.

Space is limited.
Sign up in advance.
Hike is about 2 miles, mostly on grass, with some off trail.
Wear closed toe shoes. Bring bug spray and water.
Meeting place is at the second parking lot on the Suwannee River Sill.
No Pets.
