Aldo Leopold Workshop for Middle and High School Students

This workshop is geared for middle and high school students and will explore the work of Aldo Leopold's A Sand County Almanac. Students will learn more about conservation through analyzing the meaning of Leopold's work and participating in activities that correspond with each weeks readings. $30 per participant, includes their book and 5 sessions.

For middle and high students only. Recommended age is 13-18. Registration is required. $30 per student includes their own copy of A Sand County Almanac ($10) and 5 sessions of programming materials ($4 per session). Students wishing to join later into the workshop will be charged $10 for their book and for each of the session they wish to attend ($4 per session). Students who may already have their own copy of A Sand County Almanac can waive the $10 book fee. ** Registration must be done 7 days prior to the workshop date to ensure there is a book available. The book is required for the workshop.** Refunds may be given 7 days prior to the session start date. Younger siblings may not attend. Parents may drop off and pick up if this is easier.
