Junior Ranger After Dark Camp

Take the night off and send the kids to camp! Junior Ranger After Dark is a Saturday night full of adventure. Campers will experience fishing, a night hike, and of course s'mores. $25 per camper. Ages 6-12. Registration is required.

Sign your Junior Ranger up for an after hours camp. This one night session will include fishing, a night hike, and more park fun! The cost is $25 per camper, $5 off each additional camper registered. Have fun learning in the outdoors as you work towards earning your very own Junior Ranger badge. By following the guidelines in the Junior Ranger Activity Book you will experience nature first-hand, explore Georgia's fascinating history and enjoy outdoor recreational activities. Check out the new Junior Ranger Books available after the new year. These books are specific to each park site!

Campers will need closed toe shoes, a flashlight or head lamp, and a water bottle. Please have campers eat dinner before or pack food.

Drop off is between 5:15- 5:30 pm, and drop off is between 9:15- 9:30 pm.

Activities will vary session to session. Activities may include: Fishing, Nature Hikes, Historical demonstrations and tour of the Fort, Fiber weaving, paper making, crafts, games, and more.

Meeting location will be disclosed upon registering.

Registration closes 5 days prior to the event date.Refunds available up to 2 weeks. After two weeks, we cannot refund the program fee, but can transfer the fees to another Public Program of your choice (FYLHS or Friends programs not included).
