Status: Archived On this day, our living history specialists will perform cooking demonstrations and then portray an 1853, Pioneer Thanksgiving at the cabin.
Please observe silence during the "fellowship at the table scene" as our living history specialists will perform an interpretation of a probable scenario. There will be two guided tours for the dinner scene at 12:30 pm and 1:00 pm.

Located Take I-20 exit #44. Turn onto Thornton Road. (Highway 278) Follow Highway 278 West for 10 miles. Make a right onto Highway 92. Travel North on Highway 92 for approximately 6 miles. Look for brown Pickett's Mill signs as you continue. Turn left onto Due West Road. Continue 2 miles. Turn right onto Mount Tabor Church Road. Travel half a mile and the site on the right.
