Summer Swamp Birds: Get Outdoors

Join a ranger on the Trembling Earth Nature Trail for this early hike. Look for some of the more common birds found in the Okefenokee during summer. Carolina Wrens, Cardinals, Great Egrets, Barred Owls, Pileated Woodpeckers and Swallow-tailed Kites could all make an appearance along this trail. Don't forget your binoculars.

This program requires pre-registration, as space will be limited to less than 10 participants and social distancing will be required. No binoculars will be provided or shared. You may bring your own. Hike is about .75 miles on boardwalk, gravel and grass. No pets on this hike. Wear closed toe shoes. Bring water, bug spray and dress for the weather. We will meet at the Trading Post.
