Status: Archived Join us for a moderate, mile long festive hike as we learn about mid-1800s Christmas traditions in the area. We will be hiking down to the beautiful rapids of Sweetwater Creek and will end our hike inside the impressive textile mill of New Manchester. No children under 6 or dogs please. Meet at the Visitor’s Center.

Take I-20 west from Atlanta, exit #44 at Thornton Road, turn left and go ¼ mile. Turn right on Blairs Bridge Road. After 2 miles, turn left on Mount Vernon Road and proceed to the park.
