Dr. William H.A. Collins, Curator of the Burning of Darien Museum, and historical genealogist, Amy Hedrick will discuss the lives and genealogy of the enslaved families who labored at Hofwyl Plantation and their role in the cultivation and development of the rice fields of the Altamaha River Delta.

The event is part of Georgia History Festival’s statewide celebration of “Super Museum Sunday.” Site admission is free all day.
