Status: Archived Want to learn more about mushrooms and other fungi? Join state certified mushroom forager and Wild Mushroom Food and Safety Instructor Brian Hale for a fungus presentation and brief hike. The program will begin with a power point presentation, and after we will hike a 1.6-mile loop trail in order to observe and identify wild mushrooms in the area.
The presentation will be held in the Discovery Room in the Visitor Center. No pets. Reservations are required. Limit 25. Please bring a notebook and a small hand lens, and wear good hiking shoes and long pants. Please check the forecast and dress appropriately for the weather.
