Status: Archived On November 25, 1778, Lt. Colonel McIntosh defiantly replied to the British demand of surrender that he would not "till its fate (USA) is determined". Learn more about this period of time, the vital international seaport town of Sunbury, and Fort Morris which protected it. Hourly musket and cannon firings offered 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
On the hour from 10am-4pm, volunteers and park staff will present musket & cannon firing demonstrations, as well as detailed accounts of soldier's life and garrison duty.
