Get a bang out of visiting Pickett`s Mill on July 4th. Living History demonstrators will show the evolution of small arms used in the war. We will demonstrate flintlocks, percussion cap and paper cartridge, breech loaders, and repeating rifles. Learn the difference between smooth bore and rifled barrels.

Located Take I-20 exit #44. Turn onto Thornton Road. (Highway 278) Follow Highway 278 West for 10 miles. Make a right onto Highway 92. Travel North on Highway 92 for approximately 6 miles. Look for brown Pickett's Mill signs as you continue. Turn left onto Due West Road. Continue 2 miles. Turn right onto Mount Tabor Church Road. Travel half a mile and the site on the right.
