Status: Archived This hike requires pre-registration. Bid a fond farewell to 2020 and kick off those resolutions with a .5 mile hike on the Red Trail. We will discuss the history of Sweetwater Creek and the New Manchester Manufacturing Mill. This will offer a rare opportunity to go inside of the gated mill ruins.
This hike requires pre-registration and will have limited capacity. Call the park to register. No pets on this hike. Wear closed toe shoes. Bring water, bug spray and dress for the weather. We will meet outside the visitor's center. $5 per person.

Take I-20 west from Atlanta, exit #44 at Thornton Road, turn left and go ¼ mile. Turn right on Blairs Bridge Road. After 2 miles, turn left on Mount Vernon Road and proceed to the park.
