Status: Archived Pre-registration required. Join Blue Ridge Raptors for an afternoon of birds of prey. You will be introduced to 7 native Georgia raptors and learn about the adaptations they use to survive and thrive. Live animals and fun for all ages. $10 per person. Meet at picnic shelter number 5. If there is bad weather, meet in the visitor's center.
Pre-registration required. Limited capacity. $10 per person. $5 parking pass. Participants must give at least 24 hours notice if they need to reschedule. This is a rain or shine event! In the case of severe weather, the program will be moved indoors. Park staff will notify registered participants of any change of plans prior to the event. If there are no sign-ups by the end of the day prior to the event, the park reserves the right to cancel the program.

Take I-20 west from Atlanta, exit #44 at Thornton Road, turn left and go ¼ mile. Turn right on Blairs Bridge Road. After 2 miles, turn left on Mount Vernon Road and proceed to the park.
