Status: Archived Bring your picnic fare and enjoy a revisit to Dowdell’s Knob one of FDR’s favorite sites to visit. Sweeping valley views and great company will complement our park staff as we chat about the parks human and natural history. Meet at Dowdell’s Knob Overlook. Social distancing observed. No restrooms at the site. Dress for the weather.
Preregister through the park office (706-663-4858) during regular office hours (8 AM - 5 PM). All programs are outdoors unless otherwise specified, so dress for the weather. Programs will be cancelled in the event of severe weather. Any questions, please call the park office.
