Status: Archived Welcome to F.D. Roosevelt State Park’s 1st Armed Forces Hero Day event. Thanks to all men and women who serve and have served in our Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force and Coast Guard. Local veteran groups have war era vehicles and equipment on display, including a MASH tent, historic military weapons, and Willis Jeep.
Two scout-led flag retirements in honor of Vietnam vets will be held, at 11 AM and 1 PM. Preregistration required. Limited attendance; timeslots implemented to ensure social distancing. Located at the ballfield across from Liberty Bell Pool.
