Status: Archived Bat houses are a great way to provide a necessary place to roost for many species of local bats. Native bats spend their evenings eating insects, including mosquitoes, moths and other pests. Building and installing a bat house will encourage bats to roost near your home.
This workshop will provide you with all the materials, supplies and tools to build your own bat house. There will be step-by-step instruction by Habitat For Bats LLC. Once the bat house is complete, you will learn where and how to install it. Space is extremely limited and registration is required. One house per family/address.
