Dr. Rebecca Saunders joins us for live for a presentation on the history and archaeology of the Gaule natives who lived along the Georgia Coast before the arrival of the Europeans.

Fort King George is turning 300! To celebrate, we are hosting guest lecturers each month and discussing the fascinating history of our site and town.

These lectures will be available online for free via Zoom and Facebook Live. Dr. Rebecca Saunders is the Professor of Archaeology in the Department of Geography and
Anthropology and Curator of Anthropology at the LSUMNS.
