Children from 6 to 12 are invited to join park rangers for a fun week of hikes, crafts, games, living history, and more focused on the natural and cultural heritage of Georgia. Each child will receive a Junior Ranger vest and hat and will complete activities to earn a Junior Ranger badge.
Children from 6 to 12 are invited to join park rangers for a fun week of hikes, crafts, games, living history, and more focused on the natural and cultural heritage of Georgia. On the first day, each child will receive an official Skidaway Island State Park Junior Ranger vest and hat, and during the week children will complete activities to earn a Junior Ranger badge. Each child will need to bring a lunch, snack, refillable water bottle, and sunblock. This day camp is Monday through Friday. Each day will begin at 8 AM and end at 4 PM. On Wednesday of each week, drop-off and pick-up will be at Wormsloe State Historic Site. Please call the Visitor Center to sign up.
A one-week camp will be held the following weeks:

June 10 - 14, 2024

July 8 - 12, 2024
July 15 - 19, 2024
July 22 - 26, 2024
The activities of the camp will alternate between two sets of activities. If parents wish to sign their child up for two consecutive weeks, the activities during the second week will not be identical to the first week.
