Join volunteer naturalists to learn how to use a guide book and scientific sketches to identify amazing trees along the Appalachian Approach Trail. This guided hike will take you from the visitor's center to the reflection pond parking lot, averaging 1.5 hours and is considered a moderate walk.
Guide book, pencil, and paper will be provided for your use. Please dress for the weather and bring water. Meet your guides at the arch behind the visitor's center. All ages are welcome but strollers are not recommended due to uneven terrain.
